The songs on this album were recorded whilst Anima were living with the indigenous peoples of the Peru and Bolivia. Inspired by the spiritual connection these people still retain with their ancestors and our Earth Mother, these songs are a blend of inspirational lyrics and vocals including recordings of ancient chants recorded during ayahausca ceremonies, accompanied by guitar, piano, didgeridoo and layers of strings and melodies.
